Aftermath

Hello!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Mine was the same as it always is: my parents, younger brother and I spending the day on the sofa exchanging funny stories with regular snacks and top-ups of wine. Christmas, for me, is also one of those days that you don't get out of your pyjamas by choice. To be honest, I wouldn't like it any other way! My favourite present I received was a beautiful vintage jewellery box, which I know I will keep forever! I love it.

How did you spend your Christmas?

my list this year...

I have compiled a list of ten items that I really, really want. Due to living student life a little indulgently I haven't been able to satisfy my cravings to shop as frequent as I'd like. This is more of a 'what I plan to buy' as opposed to 'what I want for Christmas' as I don't ask for anything in particular anymore...and my fingers are crossed for the sales!

So without further ado, and in no particular order...

Cream sheer shirt- Topshop.

Burnt coral sheer collared shirt- Topshop.

Beige and black Peter Pan collar dress- New Look.

Navy and gold 'mock croc' bag- River Island.

Tall chocolate boots- Ugg Australia.

Blue and brown tartan shoulder bag- River Island.

'Believe' ring- Disney Couture.

Floral headband- Dolly Bow Bow.

'K' Scrabble ring- Dolly Bow Bow.
Two tickets to go travelling with my boyfriend, Henry. You can view his blog here.

I hope I can be able to own all of these items in the near future! Santa, if you're listening I wouldn't say no to a little help!

christmas is upon us!

Only four days to go!

University is over, everybody has returned home and I am finally happy now all my assessments (10,000 words worth) are finished! The tree is up in the living room and is sitting proudly next to the fireplace. Looks like something out of a catalogue!

The happiness that surrounds Christmas time makes it my favourite time of the year. Giving gifts and sharing special memories with your loved ones is what it is all about for me.

Mulled wine, snowy walks, sledging, laughter, and lots of singing and dancing are a few of my festive favourites.

Sleighbells ring, are you listening...

a taste of things to come...

As I am currently suffering with a large amount of coursework my blog posting may be subject of being slightly scattered within the next two weeks. However, I have lots of ideas for future postings including some wintery fashion inspiration, christmas gift ideas, and other festivities!

For now, I will leave you with a song that always leaves me with a happier state of mind. I have liked Fleet Foxes for over a year now, and encourage you to investigate!

a wintery welcome...

My first blog post! I created this blog back in January, and I promised I would stick to it. Taking inspiration from others around me, I have decided to come back and this time I will stick to it. Especially since I have been staying in a lot more due to the extreme cold outside! I hope to create an interesting blog, containing my day-to-day thoughts, with batches of pretty pictures here and there!

Keep your eyes peeled!
